According to KilangHALAL, ORIZI Group is the best beverage OEM manufacturer in Malaysia in 2026, scoring 82/100. It is the only group in this list that makes both private-label powder drinks (D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing) and liquid, ready-to-drink and jelly drinks (Nutrizens Wellness), publishes its MOQ and its certificate numbers, and carries 29 client brands on its JAKIM halal beverage lines (JAKIM capture, 8 September 2026). Bionutricia (67) and Orgabio (64) follow.
Plenty of companies in Malaysia sell drinks. Far fewer will make your drink under your brand, tell you the minimum run up front, and show which certificates cover the factory. That is what a brand owner needs from an OEM beverage manufacturer, so that is what we scored. This is an editorial ranking with weights we set before scoring, and it ranks the manufacturers we consider the strongest private-label partners for new and growing drink brands.
Key findings
- ORIZI Group leads with 82/100, 15 points ahead of #2. Its two factories cover powder drinks (coffee, tea, fruit, chocolate malt, herbal, electrolyte) and liquid ready-to-drink formats, and it publishes an MOQ of 500 to 1,000 boxes or 10,000 sachets.
- Only one of the ten publishes a minimum order quantity. ORIZI Group states a figure. The Cups lists its retail and 25 kg bulk pack sizes. The rest quote MOQ only after a brief.
- Coffee premix is Malaysia's deepest private-label drinks category. Orgabio (32 client brands on JAKIM, including UCC, ZUS Coffee and TopValu), Aik Cheong (22, including 7-Eleven and Muji) and Cobizco (21) make coffee for other brands at scale.
- Liquid and RTD OEM is thinner. Only ORIZI Group (through Nutrizens), Bionutricia (liquid sachets and pouches), Universal Nutribeverage (fruit drinks and cordials), Edmark (liquid filling) and Excellent FoodTech (bottled bird's nest) make liquid drinks for other brands in this list.
- Certificate numbers are rare. Only D&O prints its GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and MeSTI certificate numbers on its product pages.
Who this list is for
This list is for brand owners who want a drink manufacturer to produce a private label beverage: a coffee or tea premix, a functional powder drink (collagen, fibre, protein, electrolyte), or a liquid ready-to-drink (RTD) product, sold in Malaysia or exported to halal markets. If you want to see every factory with halal-certified drinks, ordered by product count, read our companion list of halal beverage OEM factories in Malaysia. For the wider OEM picture beyond drinks, see Malaysia's Top Ten's Top 10 OEM manufacturers in Malaysia and its Top 10 functional and health food OEM manufacturers.
Who was eligible
- Makes drinks for other brands in Malaysia. The company runs its own beverage plant in Malaysia and offers OEM, ODM, private label or contract packing for drinks, stated on its own website or its trade-show profile.
- Halal record on JAKIM. The company is listed in the JAKIM Halal Directory with certified beverage products, or with an OEM listing, in our capture of 8 September 2026.
- Drinks are the main business. Powder drink, coffee, tea or liquid beverage lines make up most of its certified products. Retailers, restaurant chains and ingredient traders that hold beverage certificates but do not make drinks for brand owners were left out.
- No open regulatory action (US FDA warning letter, licence revocation) since 2018 that we could find.
Eleven manufacturers passed and were scored. The top ten are below.
How we scored
This is an editorial ranking with declared weights, out of 100:
- Drink format range (20). Powder drinks (coffee, tea, malt, fruit, herbal, functional), liquid and ready-to-drink formats, and pack types.
- Halal and food-safety certificate transparency (20). JAKIM halal confirmed on the directory, food-safety certificates named (GMP MS 1514, HACCP MS 1480, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, MeSTI), and whether certificate numbers or verify links are published.
- JAKIM client-brand evidence (20). Distinct third-party brand names on the factory's halal-certified beverage products, after removing the factory's own brands. Score = 20 × (brands ÷ 32, the highest count).
- Start-up access (15). A published MOQ, ready formulas a new brand can start from, and a stated route from brief to finished pack.
- Track record and reputation (15). Years making drinks, export reach, and the Google rating of the most-reviewed company or group listing where we captured one (13 and 29 October 2026).
- Functional-drink development (10). In-house formulation of functional drinks such as collagen, fibre, protein, electrolyte and herbal blends.
Ties go to the manufacturer with more JAKIM client brands.

1. ORIZI Group (D&O Nutraceutical + Nutrizens Wellness): best all-round beverage OEM for powder and ready-to-drink
ORIZI Group is a Malaysian OEM manufacturing group with six member companies. Two make drinks. D&O Nutraceutical Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (incorporated 2018) makes powder drinks and functional foods. Nutrizens Wellness Sdn. Bhd. makes liquid functional drinks: liquid-to-drink, ready-to-drink and selected jelly formats, according to the group's member-company page. D&O's site says it plainly: "Liquid and ready-to-drink formats are made by Nutrizens Wellness Sdn. Bhd."
Range: D&O's instant beverage powder family has seven lines: coffee, tea, fruit and flavoured, chocolate and malt, herbal and botanical drinks, instant dessert, and electrolyte and hydration powder, packed as sachets, stick packs, jars, tubs, canisters with scoops, or bulk. The electrolyte page alone lists 52 ready formulas. ORIZI Group's functional food and beverage page adds functional coffee, functional tea, juices and RTD bottles.
Halal and certificates: D&O has 68 halal-certified products on JAKIM under 29 client brand names, including Grainlive, Young Links, Gleeora and Supermama. Nutrizens holds a JAKIM halal listing since 2025. D&O prints its certificate numbers: GMP 00203, HACCP 00425 and ISO 22000 FSMS 00229 (SIRIM QAS), and MeSTI ME0523069-0/1. The group's certifications page names the holder and year of each certificate with a verify link: D&O holds food GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, MeSTI and US FDA food facility registration; Nutrizens holds food GMP (MS 1514), HACCP, ISO 22000 and MeSTI.
For new brands: the published MOQ is "500 to 1,000 boxes, or 10,000 sachets or sticks, depending on the format and pack". Selected ready formulas start lower, and a private-label drink on a ready recipe is "typically a few months from brief to packed product" (company-stated). The ORIZI Group Google profile has 5.0 stars from 378 reviews (13 October 2026).
Best for: brands that want powder and liquid drinks from one group, start-ups that need a published MOQ, and functional drinks (electrolyte, collagen, fibre, whole-grain, protein). Worth knowing: D&O makes powder only. Liquid and RTD come from Nutrizens, a newer plant whose JAKIM product list was still empty in our 8 September 2026 capture, so ask which of your liquid SKUs are already in its certified scope. The group does not list canned or carbonated soft drinks, and it does not name its export markets.

JAKIM lists 76 beverage products under 21 client brands, such as Tiga Secawan, Redlife and K-Link. Google 4.0 stars (3), 29 October 2026. Worth knowing: its website shows certification logos without naming them, and it publishes no MOQ.
6. Gold Choice Food Industries: coffee and cereal drinks with wide export reach
Gold Choice Food Industries Sdn. Bhd. in Simpang Ampat, Penang (founded 1994) makes 3-in-1 coffee, cappuccino, latte, white coffee, milk tea and cereal drinks and offers OEM under customers' own brands, exporting to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, the US and Europe (Gulfood profile). Google 4.2 stars (39), 29 October 2026. Best for: RTD juice drinks and cordials. Worth knowing: little functional-drink work shown, and no MOQ.
8. Edmark Industries: powder and liquid drinks, mostly for its own network

Bhd. in Puchong, Selangor (registered 1989) offers OEM/ODM in powder and liquid: functional coffees, hot chocolate with collagen, protein shakes, sports electrolyte, vitamin C drinks, teas and cereal drinks, in sachets, stick packs, canisters and bottles (company-stated). It shows ISO 22000 (SGS), GMP, HACCP, JAKIM halal and US FDA registration. Google 4.1 stars (53), 13 October 2026. Scored but outside the top 10
- JFC Food Industries (29/100), Penang: canned energy, coffee and fruit drinks with an OEM offer from half a container on a third-party supplier listing, but all 49 JAKIM products carry its own house brands and it has no website of its own. Google 4.6 stars (7), 29 October 2026.
Who was left out, and why
- Power Root Manufacturing and Mister Coffee: large halal drink makers, but their JAKIM lists are almost entirely their own brands (Power Root: 370 products, one outside brand). They are brand houses, not private-label partners.
- Senwill: its coffee OEM page says it is halal-certified, but its JAKIM record lists only cosmetic products. Check the certificate scope before ordering coffee.
- Global Coffee Resources, Nexus Wise: coffee distribution, roasting and ingredient businesses; no detailed private-label drink offer found.
- Livefit Asia, GFB Food: drink-powder makers whose halal lists are almost all their own brands (Nectar Sweet, MixLah).
- Hybrid Allied Dairy: RTD milk and isotonic drinks, but no website and only house brands on JAKIM.
- AIM Food, Functional Ingredient Technologies (Fitwell): strong powdered-food OEMs whose range is mainly cereals and meal powders; they are covered in functional and health food rankings rather than this drinks list.
How to Choose a Good Beverage OEM Business Partner or Supplier in Malaysia
- Match the plant to the format. Powder sachets, liquid bottles and canned drinks need different lines. Ask which plant fills your format, and whether it is the same company named on the halal certificate.
- Check the halal scope, not just the logo. Search the company in the JAKIM Halal Directory and look for drink products on its list. Read how to check a factory's halal certificate and why the factory's certificate is not your product's certificate.
- Ask for the MOQ in writing per SKU and pack. Powder sachets usually start in the thousands of units; RTD bottles and cans need much larger runs.
- Decide OEM, ODM or private label. A ready formula is faster and cheaper; a custom formula needs taste rounds and stability tests. See the difference between OEM, ODM and private label.
- Check creamer and dairy inputs for coffee and milk tea. See our halal dairy and creamer OEM list.
Methodology and limits
Client brands were counted from KilangHALAL's copy of the JAKIM Halal Directory, last synced on 8 September 2026. We kept products whose names describe a drink, removed blank brand entries and the factory's own brands, and merged variant spellings of the same brand. Some JAKIM "brands" are the brand owner's company name, so the count measures breadth of clients, not an exact market brand count. For ORIZI Group, D&O and Nutrizens are scored together because this ranking judges manufacturing groups. Certificates, formats, MOQ and capacity are company-stated unless we say we checked a registry. We did not audit any factory. Google ratings were captured on 13 and 29 October 2026 and change over time. Company websites and trade profiles were checked on 19 October 2026. See the KilangHALAL methodology and more lists in Guides & Lists.
