Frozen food is the OEM category least forgiving of mistakes — one broken cold chain is enough to destroy a production batch. That is why this list leans harder on experience than our others: the 10 manufacturers with the most halal-certified frozen products in JAKIM's records.
The pattern in the data: seafood dominates the category (Piau Kee, the GST group, Seafood Puddings), and KL/Selangor dominate the map. If your product needs frozen distribution nationwide, distance to distribution hubs is a real cost — price it early.

How this list was built
Ordering follows the number of halal-certified products in our capture of JAKIM's Halal Directory (8 August 2026) — an objective figure verifiable on the official portal. Retailers and restaurant chains that hold product certificates but do not run contract manufacturing are excluded and named in the text. Certificates change: check each factory's current status on our certificate checker, and see the 90-day expiry report before signing a contract.
